  Roman Aqueducts and Us


Here are Andrew and I on an outing to one of the many remains of the Roman Aqueduct just outside of Tarragona. This section is known as "The Devil's Bridge," (an impressive work of Roman engineering with two rows of arches 23 m high and 217 m long) and is incredibly intact. There are parts of the aqueduct scattered throughout the area, all part of this amazing system of getting water to the city. They were thinking.
