Digital Videos by Creative Narrations:
In the last decade, digital video has become increasingly affordable and accessible. For community based organizations and educational institutions, video can serve as a powerful tool both internally, for reflection, documentation, and evaluation, and externally, for outreach, education, and fundraising. Organizations across the country are learning to use digital video technology to carry their message to a larger audience. In addition to training, Creative Narrations provides production services at an affordable rate.

"Why Didn't I Learn This in High School?" View Clip
In the summer of 2006, Creative Narrations director Natasha Freidus interviewed adult educators throughout New Hampshire and Vermont who had participated in trainings with the Right Question Project. These interviews were compiled into an interactive DVD demonstrating the efficacy of RQP's methods in the adult education classroom. A short compendium of clips is available on the Right Question Project website.
"Schott Fellowship in Early Education" View Clips
These three short clips are part of a seven minute video depicting the Schott Fellowship's innovative approach to fostering advocacy in early childhood. Creative Narrations associate Julie Mallozzi shot and edited this documentary style piece, which the Schott Fellowship is using primarily as a fundraising and outreach tool.
"Power is Not a Dirty Word" View Clip (0.8 mb)
This thirteen minute video documents the work of Valley Interfaith, a broad-based organization in southern Texas. Through interviews and footage of meetings and political actions, Power is Not a Dirty Word illustrates the approach and the potential of community organizing. Valley Interfaith uses this video for outreach, education, and fundraising.

In the winter of 2002, students from Phillips Academy at Andover and Lawrence Community Works joined together for a unique exploration of the history of Dominican immigration in Lawrence, MA. This five minute piece highlights some of the learnings and surprises that took place behind the scenes.

This 8 minute piece highlights the potential of video as a means for organizational documentation and evaluation. Produced for the Right Question Project, an educational non-profit in Cambridge, MA, this video weaves together testimony of the many individuals and organizations that have benefited from the RQP approach. It is currently being used in trainings and for fundraising.

"Central Square Conversations" View Clip (1.4 mb) or Full Version (8 mb)
Central Square, Cambridge is a community undergoing vast transformation. This four-minute video highlights some of the issues and concerns of community and business leaders and is part of a larger Cambridge Community Television project exploring the use of technology as a tool for community development.
